History of Lattakia Port
Lattakia port is considered one of the oldest ports on the Mediterranean shore established by the Phoenicians twenty-five centuries ago.

By law / 2/2005 on the establishment of public institutions and companies, the General Company of Lattakia Port was considered a public legal person enjoying financial and administrative independence and participates in the development of the national economy.
